It can’t be bias. You can listen to whatever you like. There are plenty of Blacks out there who like it, too.

HAHAHA I’m the opposite, I grew up around the white side of my family, and listen to old school hip-hop. And my white cousins join me, they love it becoz of me. I guess black culture is easier to embrace than the white one.lol

Maybe they are just joking. We don’t take it, seriously, when our family or friends do it. If they treat you mean most of the time than that is different.

Of course, everyone can listen to rock. But to me rock is just embarrassing, sorry, that’s just my opinion.

There is nothing wrong with listening to what kind of music you like. I love classical and jazz music and sometimes I get made fun of because I like classical music. I just deal with it and keep listening to what I like. It is a free country so listen to what you like!

I’m of African descent and I listen to rock music (heavy/alternative/Nu). Oddly enough, it is the British side of my family that teases me about it. A lot of black people listen to rock music as well (mainstream pop rock).
