I was recently invited to a barbeque at my friend’s house and he had a bunch of friends show up as well.  We all sat outside by the chiminea and one guy was playing some of the Best Acoustic Guitar Songs I have heard.  He was a really good guitarist. One of my favorite songs that he played was by a guy named Jon Swift and the song’s name was Run Run River.  It was so nice having an acoustic guitar player at the barbeque.  I hope my friend has more barbeques and invited over that guitar player because it really made the barbeque a special event.

When it comes to playing guitar, a guitar preamp can give a player additional options for enhancing the sounds coming from their instrument.  A preamplifier allows the guitarist to do some signal conditioning during the first stage before the sound reaches the amplifier.  Guitar preamp controls allow one to control the low, mid and high range sequences on the guitar.  Volume and tone controls provide more control over the mix and having two volume controls means you can alter the overtone and harmonics of the signal .  In other words, a peamp helps boost and enhance the guitar’s orginal signal before going into the amplifier tubes.
