Hand Blower Dryers

Posted by Assunta,

It’s surprising to learn that electric hand blower dryers were invented back in 1948.  By the time the 1960’s came along, we began to see wall mounted electric dryers in most commercial restrooms.  As with any new invention, improvements quickly followed the original design.

One of the reasons people were not crazy with public bathroom hand blowers in the early years was the amount of time we were required to hold our hands under the nozzle. People got frustrated and impatient. As years have passed improvements have led to shortening up the drying time required.  The newest models have slashed the time to 10 to 15 seconds.  The manufacturers accomplish this by increasing the power and concentration of the blowing warm air.

New Car Smell

Posted by Dan,

When I think of RETAIL STORE FLOORING I think of the smell that a new car has when you first buy it. There is nothing like that new car smell. You save up your money and work hard at your respective job and then you buy a brand new car. The car looks beautiful and smells great as well. And then as time goes on and you put more miles on it and the wear and tear accumulates and the new car smell is replaced by cigarette smoke and fast food smells. Not to forget about the mud and dirt and food stains. The reality is never what you envision.

Types of Awnings for your Caravan or RV

Posted by Emmanuel,

Depending on your usage objectives, there are various types and options of awnings that are available for your caravan or RV. You can buy the leaning porch awning which is a closed up type and attached to the side or back of your caravan. If this is not for you, there are other styles such as the free standing, annexes and sun canopy to choose from. But whatever you purchase, you have to be careful in selecting with respect to the size and heaviness. Choose one that uses a durable material which can withstand harsh climate conditions but is also lightweight and weatherproof.

The best decision

Posted by Cassy,

There are so many different ways of marketing yourself that sometimes it can be almost impossible to make the right decision, and you are simply left feeling spoiled for choice. A few months ago I decided to seek advice about some ways to generate sales in my store and one suggestion from a friend was to install a really high quality Scrolling Banner Stand so that I could change the marketing message very easily. I installed it six months ago and since then it has really paid his way in extra sales and revenue produced and I am very happy.

Sister Wants an Inexpensive Address Label Template

Last week, my sister, Sue, called me. Sue said she wanted to know if I knew of any place where she could get an inexpensive Address Label Template. She said she would like to make some pretty address labels. I told Sue that I didn’t know of any place that she could get some inexpensive templates. I told her that I had off of work on Monday, so I could spend some time looking on the Internet for some inexpensive templates. Sue said she would appreciate it if I would look for her. She said if she found a template before Monday, she would call me and let me know.

A receptionist service will increase productivity for the average small business entrepreneur.

The ins and outs of attempting to start or run a small business can be complex and overwhelming at times. Even the most naturally organized among us may struggle with juggling responsibilities and wearing all the hats. Most small businesses simply do not have the financial resources to hire additional help with both menial and higher tasks. A typical small business owner must be custodian, bookkeeper, receptionist, CEO, and where applicable, salesman all in one. By removing the burden of answering phones, there is more time to devote to the rest of the responsibilities. The receptionists use company names and are trained to know the services or products of an operation and will be able to field questions and provide information. Since studies show that 80% of potential customers or clients do not respond to voicemail or answering machines, it can mean the difference between success or failure.

How a Merchant Account Gateway Processes Your Customer’s Credit Cards

Posted by Emmaline,If you want to accept credit cards in you business, but you don’t have a physical store where people come in and buy things in person, then there are several steps involved which allow you to accept a customer’s credit card without actually having it in your possession. Once you have the customer’s credit card info, the first step is to put that information into your computer, which passes it along to your credit card processing service, also known as a merchant account gateway. Your processing service then checks with the issuing bank as to the availability of funds. This bank then sends a code back to your gateway service, which finally notifies your own bank to credit your account.
