Getting More Minutes for My Phone

I hate it when I run out of minutes on my phone before pay day. Then I have to go without using my phone for a while, which is hard for me to do. I am going to look into ways to get free Tracfone minutes so I don’t have to worry so much about this happening. Eventually I will get better at rationing my minutes so I don’t run out ahead of time, but it would be nice to be able to get more without spending a lot of money. I am trying to save up for a big vacation.

Simulated Stone Siding is so Much Cheaper

Posted by Alyse,

We wanted to brick or stone the outside of our house. We have been pricing the stuff for years, but it was just not in the budget. So we would continue to paint and trim every other year. As we got older, we were both tired of climbing up and down ladders. Then I saw an ad about simulated stone siding. It was so much cheaper than the real stones or the real brick. We started looking for a contractor and the prices of labor weren’t that bad because this type of siding goes up fairly quickly. The house looks so much nicer now.

Installing A Exhaust Fan Roof Vent

Posted by Apolonia,

When you have a house you want to ensure that it has all the amenities required for comfortable living. This is possible when you have vents in order to ensure that hot air goes out of the house as it rises up to the top of the room. This is one of the main reasons why so many houses now have exhaust fan roof vent that is used in order to fit the all important exhaust fan that is useful in expelling the hot air from the room while ensuring that there is a gust of cool air into the house.

A Suggestion for My Brother

Posted by Eneida,

My brother called the other day and asked if my husband could help him install a clothesline if he purchased it. I asked which type he was getting and he said a t-bar one. I suggested Retractable Clotheslines as he lives alone. He doesn’t wash clothes more than once a week and he doesn’t need this bar in his backyard. A retractable version will look much better and he doesn’t have to wait for my husband to help him. My husband coaches baseball and we are very busy so it could be weeks before he gets to my brother’s to do the installation.

Go Futuristic – or Retro – with Metal Kitchen Cabinets

Posted by Elease,

While wooden cabinets are widespread in today’s homes a lot of the more contemporary kitchen designs incorporate something that was all the rage decades ago – metal cabinetry!Stylistically, most people either love it or hate it. If you like a sleek look, you may find the clean lines of metal cabinetry offer a nice complement to cutting-edge appliances.  Metal kitchen cabinets can offer a wide range of color options without the need to paint and varnish.  If you´re looking for a catchy retro look, nothing brings back a mid-20th century kitchen like metal cabinets in cheerful tones. If the look of metal appeals, consider some of the other practical benefits:  metal cabinetry is cheaper than wood, it’s widely available in modern designs, it stands up well to wear, and it’s a cinch to keep it spotlessly clean!

My little hobby and exercise for the soul

Posted by Laurette,

I have a side business, (the wife calls it a hobby) and that’s making up little websites that are small, targeted niches. Trouble is there’s a lot of repetitive work, primarily writing contents for the pages, writing blog posts to promote them etc. After a few hours you find your mind kind of numbing and then brain paralysis sets in. Just tonight I couldn’t think of a thing to write about for my Stair Chair Lifts website. Luckily, I’m also a fat guy, and have to exercise daily, so with a mind totally numbed I set off for my evening hour long walk, and returned with a clear mind, and had no problem typing this out.

We Looked at HUD Foreclosure Homes

I love living here and so do the kids. The school here is great and we are close to a park. We often walk to the park and let the kids enjoy it. It is thrilling to be able to invest in our first home. We did not think we could do it, but we found what we were looking for in our budget. It took some time, but then we made the connection. We looked into HUD foreclosure homes and we bought this one. It has four bedrooms and we got it at a great price. We are enjoying out investment.

Green Living with Steel Storage Containers

Posted by Britany,

History has already proved that tough times stimulate people’s creativity. This is why with the recession and problem of global warming, new ways to build houses are now found to efficiently answer the issues of high housing costs and high carbon footprint with the use of steel storage containers.By using these sturdy, recycled, 45 feet tall steel storage containers and transforming them into a livable space, you can already contribute a lot in helping the environment. As small spaces are now more preferred by the public for being friendlier to the environment (less need for energy to heat the house, etc.), making your own cozy space is now more ideal.Plus, with a house made from industrial steel containers, you can already have a portable home; just add a platform and chassis that can take on the container’s weight and you already can start taking your little home around. And as steel is sturdier than other materials like resin or wood, you can be sure that your portable, compact house will be livable for a long period of time.
